Sell Your Semi Truck FAQs

What documents do I need to provide for a quote?

Our application form is comprehensive, but any improvement paperwork you can provide is extremely helpful. These documents include paperwork on engine overhauls, transmission repair, or other large invoices that could improve the value of your truck.

How do we determine your truck’s value?

Truck values are determined based on current market trends and data. We base our quotes from various sources such as TruckPaper, Fleet Evaluator, Market Trends & DAT Freight & Analytics to name a few.

How does trading in differ from selling?

To trade in your truck, you will need to come to our location for an on-site inspection and purchase of your new truck. If you are just selling us your used semi truck, an appraiser will typically come to you within 24 hours once we receive your form submission.

How can I expect to receive my quote?

We give initial quotes over the phone based on information you provide in our online form. The more information and photos you can supply, the more accurate your quote will be. All quotes are contingent upon an in-person inspection. We will send a final, written quote via email.

How long does a quote last?

After the truck is evaluated in-person, your final offer is valid for 14 days. With the rapidly changing market, quotes will need to be redone after 14 days.

How and when will I be paid?

After your truck is reviewed by an in-person inspector, you will be paid in full THAT DAY. Payment can be made through a cashier’s check or a bank wire – the choice is yours.
